Mingyu Wu

Mingyu Wu was born in the People’s Republic of China in 1978 and has lived in Portugal since 1989. After briefly studying Civil Engineering at the Catholic University and completing a professional course at the Portuguese Institute of Photography, she graduated in Philosophy from NOVA University Lisbon. She taught Chinese language and worked as a translator. She completed a three-year ceramics course at Ar.Co and continued her studies in the Advanced Course in Visual Arts at the same institution, supported by the Graça Costa Cabral scholarship in 2024.
