Rui Valente Casse Cace (1973) completed a course in textiles at the National School of Visual Arts and did an internship at the DANHIKOSCHOOL in Zimbabwe (1993). She worked as a stylist at the Alto Maé House of Culture until 1995, when she became a member of the Art Centre. She worked as a designer for the Mozarte Youth Association and took part in the Dakar 2003 workshop, which culminated in the 2004 International Design Biennale in Sain-Ètiene, France. He has also taken part in various exhibitions in the country, including the award for his work xilolecho, a sculpture that transforms weapons into works of art, for the main prize of the Mozarte Biennial, 2004. Since 2004 she has participated in group exhibitions and workshops. He works with painting, sculpture, textiles and recycling.
