Linhas Cruzadas | Crossed Lines

Synopsis

The exhibition Linhas Cruzadas (Crossed Lines) presents a selection of artists and works that have stood out in the context of contemporary art and, in particular, in the collection of this Foundation, taking into account the exhibition space of the SNBA - National Society of Fine Arts.

Whatever the artistic fields of each artist and the context in which they have chosen to work, whether in Portugal or abroad, within the Portuguese-speaking world or in any other country where they have found the necessary conditions for the development of their work, the artists represented here reflect a selection of the panorama of artistic creation that the PLMJ Foundation has built up since the beginning of the 21st century, paying particular attention to artists at the beginning of their careers, but without losing sight of those who have already consolidated their work during this period.
