Synopsis

This exhibition, which is the result of the publication of the book A Preto & Branco na Coleção da Fundação PLMJ (in Black & White in the collection of the PLMJ Foundation) by guest curator João Silvério, presents a selection of artists and works that focus on black and white in three areas of artistic creation in the collection, such as photography, drawing and video. This is an opportunity to revisit historical artists and works from the collection, in parallel with works by other recently acquired artists, regardless of the generations that intersect here.
