The contemporary art magazine Umbigo has marked its 18th anniversary with a special issue celebrating its coming of age.
The issue also includes contributions from 18 thinkers, museum directors, critics, and curators, offering reflections on the national and international art scene and its evolution over nearly two decades. Each pair of artists selected a specific year to explore and work on. According to the editors, this special edition features 18 commissioned artistic projects involving 38 artists in dialogue, each reflecting on key themes from the past 18 years.
