FPM #7 | mapping Form: works from the PLMJ Foundation collection

The PLMJ Foundation will open FPM #7 | mapping Form: works from the PLMJ Foundation collection 12 November at 18H30in Lisbon.

This exhibition explores the concept of maps, but not in the context of clearly defined routes and predetermined destinations, as when we begin a journey. Like life itself, paths change as we follow them. In today’s world, the freedom to choose where we go, even if only for a couple of hours, is a bold undertaking in itself.

This is the spirit of the exhibition. It brings together sculptures, paintings and drawings by 27 artists represented in the Foundation's collection, including works that have never been exhibited before. We therefore invite visitors to chart their own course through these pieces and discover the connections they make.

Featured artists: Carlos Bunga, Carlos Correia, Catarina Marques Domingues, Cecília Costa, Diana Policarpo, Fernando Marques de Oliveira, Filipa César, Francisco Trêpa, Isabel Madureira Andrade, Ídasse, João Ferro Martins, João Motta Guedes, João Pedro Vale + Nuno Alexandre Ferreira, José Drummond, Maria Durão, Margarida Lagarto, Miguel António Domingues, Mingyu Wu, Nuno Sousa Vieira, Pedro Calapez, Pedro Chorão, Pedro Tudela, Rita Ferreira, Rita Gaspar Vieira, Rui Chafes e Teresa Henriques.

Curator: João Silvério

We look forward to seeing you!
