Vítor Ribeiro

Vítor Ribeiro (Porto, 1957) attended the drawing, painting, and sculpture workshops of Ar.Co and graduated in sculpture in 1985. His work is represented in institutions and collections such as Museu Machado de Castro, Coimbra; Museu Santa Maria da Vitória, Batalha; Comissão Coordenadora da Região Norte, Porto; Câmara Municipal de Almada; Fundação Mário Soares, Leiria; Câmara Municipal de Albufeira; Presidência da República do Uruguai; Iwate Park, Japan; and the Amsterdam Museum of Modern Art, Amsterdam.
In 1999, he was awarded the 1st Prize of the Association Internationale des Arts Plastiques / UNESCO. He has had solo exhibitions at Galeria São Mamede in 2022 with the exhibition O Caminho das Pedras and in 2019 with the exhibition Árvores Improváveis.
