Tito Mouraz

Tito Mouraz (Portugal, 1977) lives and works in Porto. He completed the Visual Arts and Photography course at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto in 2010. Since 2009, he has exhibited regularly in Portugal and abroad, with notable exhibitions at The Finnish Museum of Photography (Helsinki), Format Festival (UK), Arquipélago - Contemporary Arts Centre (Azores), Tampere Art Museum (Finland), Museu da Imagem (Braga), and Festival Circulation(s) (Paris). His book Casa das Sete Senhoras (2016) was named by Sean O'Hagan as one of the best photography books of the year in The Guardian. His work is part of public and private collections, including the State Contemporary Art Collection of Portugal, the EDP Foundation, and the PLMJ Foundation. Recent exhibitions include continuum (2024, Fórum Arte Braga) and Farleigh (2023, 3+1 Arte Contemporânea, Lisbon).
