Tiago Alexandre (Lisbon, 1988) lives and works in Lisbon. He holds a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2012). In 2012, he carried out the artistic residency Pé de Cabra – It’s Not Basel But It Could Be, in Lisbon. He has participated in several group exhibitions, including Gente Feliz com Lágrimas, curated by Nuno Alexandre Ferreira, in São Miguel – Azores (2015); Stoli, you stole my heart, curated by Vika Latysheva, in Kazakhstan (2015); Devido à chuva a revolução foi adiada, curated by Patrícia Trindade, at Plataforma Revólver, Lisbon (2014); Bells are still ringing, curated by Alexandre Melo, at Galeria Graça Brandão, Lisbon (2014); the Bienal de Cerveira (selection of works), curated by Lourenço Egreja, at Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa, Lisbon (2014); and the Bienal de Cerveira 2013, curated by Albuquerque Mendes and Luís Coquenao, in Vila Nova de Cerveira. In 2015, he presented the solo exhibition Entre o Boné e os Ténis at Galeria Graça Brandão, in Lisbon.
