Rita Magalhães

Rita Magalhães was born in Porto (1974), where she still lives and works. She studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. She has been exhibiting since 1999, both in Portugal and in various foreign countries. She has exhibited in collections such as: the EDP Foundation, the PLMJ Foundation, the Serralves Museum (Porto), the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, CGAC - Galician Centre for Contemporary Art (Santiago de Compostela), BesArte Collection, Fundación Foto Colectania (Barcelona), Fundación Pedro Barrié de La Maza (Vigo), and Câmara Municipal do Porto.
