Ricardo Jacinto

Ricardo Jacinto (Lisbon, 1975) is an artist and musician who lives and works in Lisbon. He holds a PhD in Music and Sonic Arts from the Sonic Arts Research Center in Belfast and studied Architecture at the University of Lisbon. Jacinto also has a background in Sculpture and Visual Arts from Ar.Co, Lisbon. His work has been showcased since 1998, with notable solo exhibitions such as O Parlamento de Caríbdis (2022), FILÃO (2019), Desenho Interrompido (2018), Atraso #2 (2013), and O Corredor (2011). His work has been featured in significant group exhibitions, including Hoenrausch (2009) at the Ok Center, Linz, Earworm (2008) at Culturgest, Lisbon, and Manifesta 08 (2008) in Rovereto, Italy. He is a co-founder of OSSO – Associação Cultural and frequently collaborates with other artists and musicians. His work is included in prominent collections, including Fundação Serralves, the PLMJ Foundation, and the Contemporary Art Collection of the State (CACE).
