Patrícia Assis

Patrícia Assis (Algarve, 1993) lives and works in Lisbon.

With an academical background in Political Science and International Relations (B.A., FCSH-UNL, Lisbon), Culture Studies (M.A., FCH-UCP, Lisbon) and Discourses of Contemporary Photography (post-graduation, FBAUL, Lisbon), her artistic practice, focused on Photography, reflects upon these diverse fields of interest.

The following collective exhibitions can be highlighted: ‘Banho de Paragem, 2024 – curated by Antóno Júlio Duarte and Sérgio Mah) and ‘Do you need a body to cast a shadow?’ (Galeria Zé dos Bois, 2025). Her work is represented in the PLMJ Foundation collection and in various private collections.
Assis is one the co-founders of colectivo ssensível.
