Mariana Gomes (Faro, 1983) lives and works in Lisbon. She graduated in Visual Arts/Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Her notable solo exhibitions include Neo-Pós-Neo (2023) and Solilóquio (2020) at Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art. She has participated in group exhibitions such as FRESH BREEZE (2023) in Berlin and Feast. Fury. Femina. in São Miguel, Azores (2022). She received the Amadeu Souza Cardoso Award in 2015 and an honourable mention in the Fidelidade Mundial Young Painters Award in 2011. Her works are part of the collections of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Carmona e Costa Foundation, the Norlinda and José Lima Collection, and the PLMJ Foundation.
Pedro Valdez Cardoso (Lisbon, 1977) lives and works in Lisbon. He has been exhibiting regularly since 2001.
