Mané Pacheco (Portalegre, 1978) lives and works in Lisbon. She studied and worked in the field of Environment and Nature Conservation before enrolling at FBAUL, where she completed a degree in Multimedia Art, graduating with the University of Lisbon’s Distinction of Merit and the BPI/FBAUL Award in 2010.

Both areas of training are reflected in an interdisciplinary body of work (drawing, sculpture, installation, video, photography, performance) that centres on materiality and the ecology of relationships. She participated in the residencies Walk and Talk Azores (2021) and Creadores de Iberoamérica en México (2010) (FONCA–CONACULTA). Notable solo exhibitions include Pelágica (2021), Museu Carlos Machado; Uma cobra naturalmente falsa (2021), Galeria Balcony; and Para toda a obra (2018), Galeria o Armário. Selected group exhibitions include Projecto MAP 2010–2020 (2020), Museu Coleção Berardo; Finalistas Loop’s (2018), Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado; A sonic youth (2019), Galeria Municipal de Almada; O Sol de Inverno a Cavalo Congela a Minha Sombra (2020), Drawing Room Lisboa; A guerra como modo de ver (2018), Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Elvas; Festival Landart Cascais (2010); and Creadores de Iberoamérica en México (2010) at Museo Diego Rivera–Anahuacalli and Centro Cultural de España en México.

Her work is represented in several collections, including the António Cachola Collection, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon City Council, William Allen Word and Image, Galeria Zé dos Bois, and the Museu das Artes de Sintra.
