Luísa Menano

Luísa Menano is an artist, educator and researcher with a PhD from Winchester School of Art, UK. Her interdisciplinary practice includes photography, 3D sculpture, drawing, video and sound installation, exploring themes of time, displacement, memory and (de)colonisation. She has participated in events such as the XII Vila Nova de Cerveira Biennial and exhibitions in the UK, USA, Mexico, Poland and Cyprus, including projects such as Mapping Shadows and The Impact of Bread. Her work is included in collections such as the PLMJ Foundation and the Fine Arts Mahtma Gandhi Institute. She is a member of i2ADS and BAAT and contributes to research in art and art therapy.
