Luís Afonso

Luís Afonso (Covilhã, 1978) holds a Doctorate in Visual Arts from the University of Évora and a degree in Fine Arts - Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Évora, where he has been a lecturer since 2005. He has been exhibiting his work since the late 90s. He has participated and collaborated in various public art projects, monuments, sculptures and international symposia.
