Leonor Antunes

Leonor Antunes is a visual artist of Portuguese origin living in Berlin since 2005. She attended the first year of the scenography course at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon (1992-93) and then graduated in Fine Arts - Sculpture at the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Lisbon (1993-98). She represented the Portuguese Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019. The Portuguese artist’s exhibition, entitled A seam, a surface, a hinge, or a knot, curated by João Ribas, was on at the Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venice from 11 May to 24 November 2019.
