Gabriela Noujaim was born in Rio de Janeiro (1983), where she lives and works, as well as in Portugal. She holds a degree in printmaking from the Escola de Belas-Artes at UFRJ.
In 2023, she participated in the exhibition Transition Zones featuring works from the PLMJ Foundation collection. In 2022, she took part in the group exhibition Poder da Terra at the Montoro12 Contemporary Art Gallery, Brussels. In 2020, she was affiliated with ARTFEM – 2nd International Women Artists Biennale in Macau, China, and the Capacete artist residency in Rio de Janeiro.
