Francisco Queirós

Born in 1972 in Lisbon, Portugal, he lives and works in Sintra. He studied Painting (ESBAL 1993-1999) and completed his PhD in 2020 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, where he teaches in the area of Painting. He has been exhibiting regularly, both individually and collectively, since the mid-1990s, including: Les Frissons, Les Étoiles e os Pirilampos, Galeria Miguel Nabinho, Lisbon; Yeah, CASM, Barcelona; Yupi, MACS, Porto; Squatters, MACS, Porto; 1st Valencia Biennial, Valencia; Disseminações, Culturgest, Lisbon; VideoRom, MACRO, Rome; Coup de Coeur, CRAC Alsace, Altkirch; Tensão e Conflito – Arte em Vídeo após 2018, MAAT, Lisbon. His work is represented in several national and international public and private collections.
