Francisco Nogueira

Francisco Nogueira (Lisbon, 1985) lives and works in Lisbon. He graduated in Architecture from FAUL and began working as a photographer that same year. In 2010, he was awarded the INOV Contacto scholarship to work at Ventura Valcarce Arquitectos in Barcelona. In the same year, he established his own photography studio, collaborating with clients and magazines both in Portugal and internationally. His work focuses on architecture, interiors, and human-made landscapes. Among his editorial clients are publications such as Wallpaper, T Magazine, Elle Decor US, DOMUS, Surface, and The New York Times. In 2013, he published the book As Roças de São Tomé e Príncipe, written by architects Duarte Pape and Rodrigo Rebelo de Andrade, with Tinta-da-China. In 2016, he published the book Bijagós: Património Arquitetónico, with the same authors. In 2018, he presented his first solo exhibition, Man Made, at Artroom in Lisbon. His works are part of private collections, including those of the PLMJ Foundation and the Fundación Vila Casas.
