Diana Policarpo (Lisbon, 1986) is a visual artist and composer based between Lisbon and London.  She studied music at the National Conservatory of Lisbon, earned a BA in Fine Arts from ESAD.CR, and completed an MFA at Goldsmiths College, University of London, in 2013. Since then, she has developed an international career marked by a critical and sensorial approach. Her solo exhibitions include Dark Forces (Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, 2014), The Common Ground (Xero, Kline and Coma, London, 2015), Occupations (lAB Artists Unlimited, Bielefeld, 2016), In Between the Lines (Kunstverein Leipzig, 2017), Líquida Fonte (Belo Campo / Galeria Francisco Fino, Lisbon, 2018), Death Grip (Gnration, Braga, 2019), Viscous Bodies (Galeria Municipal do Porto, 2020), Neti Neti (MAAT, Lisbon, 2021), Bioscores (Kunsthall Oslo, 2022), Cursed Tongues (Nottingham Contemporary, 2023), and Flesh of the World (Centro de Artes Visuais, Coimbra, 2023). 

She has taken part in group shows such as ARCOmadrid (2019), Tudo o que eu quero (Cordoaria Nacional – Galerias Municipais, Lisbon, 2019), Lisboa Soa (2018), Post-Nature (Mars Gallery, Melbourne, 2017), Nowhere Island (Peninsula Gallery, New York, 2015), Hacked Matter (W139, Amsterdam, 2015), and Signal Transmissions (Shaun Fenster, Berlin, 2014). She has performed at venues including Passos Manuel (Porto), Kunsthall Oslo, ICA, Cafe OTO, LUX Moving Image, Tenderpixel, Enclave, and Pump House Gallery (London). She was awarded the EDP Foundation New Artists Prize (2019) and the illy Present Future Prize (2021).
