Catarina Câmara Pereira was born in Lisbon (1970), where she lives and works. She teaches in the master's in Fine Arts at ESAD.CR in Caldas da Rainha.
She holds a master's degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and obtained her doctorate in 2019 with the thesis FERMATA. Artaud; Sade; Bataille: a suspension of thought in the act of poiesis.
