Carlos Pinheiro

Carlos Pinheiro was born in Porto (1981), where he still lives and works. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Porto.
Between 2000 and 2004 he was a member of the cultural and artistic exchange group Identidades, where he participated in and organised various exhibitions, debates, workshops, interventions in public space, art sales and auctions. In 2004 he participated in the International Static-Mobile Sculpture Workshop in St Hypollite du Fort, France. In 2006 he had a solo exhibition Ocelos, S Museum at the MCO Arte Contemporanea.
He has participated in group exhibitions such as 2006, Young Painters Giants, MCO Arte Contemporânea, Porto; 2005, Olhar para o Boneco, Maus-Hábitos, Porto.
