Berry Bickle

Berry Bickle (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) studied fine arts at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) and later completed a postgraduate qualification in painting. She recently returned to Zimbabwe after living in Maputo for 15 years. Since then she has worked in a variety of media including installation, video, ceramics, contemporary dance and photography. Through the latter two, she explores urban spaces to investigate contemporary history and the archive as themes for her work.
