António Olaio (Angola, 1963) lives in Coimbra. He is a professor of Architecture at the University of Coimbra, where he completed his doctorate in 2000. He is the director of the College of Arts and a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the same university.
He has been exhibiting since 1980. His performances in the 1980s led him to music, with songs frequently featured in his videos and exhibitions. He has held exhibitions and performances in countries such as Portugal, Spain, Germany, the USA, France, and the Netherlands.
