António Leal was born in Porto (1979), where he lives and works.
He studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
He has exhibited regularly since the 2000s and his group exhibitions include: 2006, Constelações Afetivas- Parte II, Galeria Graça Brandão; 2005, 13:7, Galeria Sete, Coimbra; 2004, Anteciparte 04, Estufa Fria, Lisbon; 2003, Sociedade Anónima, Espaço Pêssegoprasemana, Porto.
In 2000 he won the CMP prize, Porto.
